POLICE PRESS RELEASE
Police department is sending a stern warning to community
The Police Department has noticed that many fights have been taking place during this Carnival Season even though a Zero Tolerance policy is effect. Persons involved in fights or any other illegal act and mainly when it is related to carnival will be arrested. These persons will have to go through the process and will have to pay a very hefty fine before being released. The police will definitely be tackling these situations to ensure the safety and security for other persons attending the carnival festivities.
The police will also deal with scooter and motorcycle riders who violate the road or alley closures or remove the barricades placed by police. Riding on these streets and mainly when pedestrians are walking will also not be tolerated.
The Police Department is also asking the cooperation from the community to allow all emergency vehicles free passage when going to an emergency call.
